District Apps

In general, apps or websites need to be approved if A) we are entering student data and B) if they need to be installed on a device. Supplementary apps are approved based on four criteria. 
  1. Does the app protect our student's data? 
  2. Will it work in our technology environment? 
  3. Does the app align with our curriculum and improve teaching and/or learning? 
  4. Has this app been budgeted for? 
Supplemental Apps are apps or websites that have been approved by the technology department for data privacy and technical functionality, but still need to be approved by administration for how it is being used and whether it has been budgeted for. 

District or School Apps are apps and websites that have been approved by the technology department and have already been pre-approved by curriculum and have already been budgeted for.
